Automated External Defibrillator and Defibrillation
This three hour HSE accredited Automated external defibrillator course is recommended for all persons who are likely to work in environments holding automatic defibrillator machines and may be called to use an automated external defibrillator, commonly thought of as 'electric shock' machines. Such places may include stadiums, shopping centres, health clubs, large factories, rural industries.

- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Approaching a Casualty
- Assessing a Casualty
- Clearing the Airway
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Alternative Ventilation Procedures
- AED Algorithm
- AED- Adults
- AED- Children
- Chest Preparation and Electrode Pad Placement
- Emergency Services and Casualty Reporting
- AED Equipment Checks
Course Costs:
- £60 per person +VAT
- £350 per group +VAT (6 maximum)
N.B:
Where delegates are not certified first aiders, the AED course will combine CPR modules and form a six hour course
